Jacob reading

I love when my children will read a book with me. Jacob has been doing the program hooked on reading. and when you complete a level you get a book to read so Jacob and I read it together. He really liked it and has already starting doing the next level. This book was about help and meeting Paul Revere.

Book for Book Club

I just finished this great book. I loved that it was clean. I did not really remember when the other ladies were telling why this book was so great I just thought I better read it. And I am glad I did. I liked the pace and I did like that it moved back and forth to now a days and then back through the war time. I have not read that many books on the whole take of how it was for Chinese people and Japanese people. I really liked how the author explained himself and I liked that it was from a man's perspective. And I love how his son was so great to him. That he believed in him and wanted to him to have a 2ND chance. I really recommend this book it was a great read.

Mi Pubelo

Like I just said in the last post is that J and I went out on a date. J picked a new spot for us to go to and that was Mi Pueblo. I liked the decoration. It was Mexican mixed with native American. I love old cow skulls all decorated. J loved his food. But my tamale was to dry. I loved the chips. It was fun to go somewhere new. Even though it has been here in Cedar City for a while now. The service is good. And they even give kids a balloon before they leave. So fun and cute.

Going Out

This is where J and I went on our date. The chips were great. J enjoyed his meal but mine was to dry. But I sure love going out with J. He is so kind and he has a great listening ear. While we were there we saw Dustin and Hillary and The Einfeldts. It was great to be out with J.

Groundhog pancakes

I saw this idea on gourmet mom site. So I thought I would give it a try and we had breakfast for dinner with orange julius and our groundhog looking out of the mound. Easy and fast and the children loved it. Plus it was super easy. A doughnut hole and then I made pancakes. Plus it was yummy you can not beat that.

Sweet and Sour Baked Chicken

We had Sweet and Sour baked chicken. Made with drumsticks. Sometimes I just do not grab my camera to take a picture I just want to eat. So here is a picture from another blog site.

Emma and the Draper Temple

Since the Open House of the Draper Temple. Emma says that this is her favorite temple. She wants to live in Draper. So her Dad was kind enough on the way home we were able to stop and see it. She was excited about it. But it was very cold since they just had a snowstorm. But the temple was beautiful. And she still loves it.

Make a quilt

I made this baby quilt for Amy. I have not yet had a chance to give it to her . We were out of town for her baby shower. I know this is not the quilt I had in mind when I put this goal down. But I wanted to show off one of my projects. Plus this kinds of quilts are the best .

Temple Date and Luncheon

Jonathan and I were able to go to the Salt Lake Temple and see the wedding of Greg Thatcher and Rebecca. The Bryants and Nana were able to watch our children so we could go to the temple and then to the Luncheon. It was so nice to be with Jonathan and then meet up with his parents. It was so nice to be with him and to share a cinnamon roll and to go to lunch with him and see his family. It was also so nice to be able to look around the Joseph Smith Memorial building and look out and take some great pictures.

Project Life for 2009

I am so excited I finally got Project Life for 2009 published and it is already back. I did it through blurb book.com because I thought it would be cheaper and it actually was. Since I was a new costumer. I wanted to do it in it's original size 12x12 . I had a 124 pg book in the book I included the month before the week. I was so pleased with the printing and I read to get the best paper and I did and it turned out so great. I am so glad that I did this project. It is amazing and I am so happy with the colors and the binding of the book. This is surely a treasure that we will love.

Finished up Luke

I was able to finish up reading Luke. I love reading in the new testament about Jesus Christ life and all of the wonderful miracles that he performed I love that the apostles took an accounting of his life so that I can know the Savior better.

Valentine Smores

This way was a stretch I found this from be different act normal and from there you go to Cray domestic.com. Which I found the recipe. Well I did not pay close attention to the crust part of the recipe. So I did not freeze my I was in a hurray. Emma wanted to help and I like for projects to get done. So we did the marshmallow in the chocolate and mushed them into the graham cracker crust. And then dipped them in chocolate. They tasted great. And she was able to give these to 15 of her friends.

Liz crescent rolls

I found this yummy recipes in my Food Nanny cookbook. I love that you basically only cook them for 10 min. And they turn out great. I was glad that Emma wanted to help roll and cut them out. They were great. We even used them for Sunday dinner and for tonight meal.

MockingJay

I was able to finish Mocking Jay. I was reading it with Emma but she did not want to finish it. She stopped on chapter 19. I am going to help her finish it. So she can say I have finished a whole book series. It was alright. It was not my favorite of all the books. I really like the first 2. I think she was great author and she kept the story going.

St. George Temple

We were able to go down for Ward Temple night. It was also a sweetheart night. We went to dinner and were able to ride down with the Messers and Jones. We had a great time. The temple was so pretty. It was just a little cold down in St. George but the spirit was wonderful. Seval was able to watch the children. Which was a great big help. So we would not worry about them. I love that people are so kind to my family.

Drew

We choose another book to read. And that was Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle. Emma got these from Aunt Traci and I thought I would try them out on the boys. And they loved it. When I would stop reading or laughing. Drew would say keep reading. I want to know more. We truly enjoyed this book together. And yes I would like to try some of her cures.

Jacob

I read this story to Jacob and Drew before they went to sleep. They really enjoyed this and it kept them in thier beds.So it was a win win for all of us. We love the movie. I had no clue that Emma Roberts it the voice of Princess Pea. So if you are looking for a good movie or book to read to your children.

Drew

Drew this year is on a very good team. The children all want to be there and Jonathan gets to be his coach which has been good for the both of them. They have practises and then games. He is doing great at being a point guard. And his dribbling is coming along great. He made a basket at the last game and he was pretty excited about it. Drew is growing so fast.He is a great child. I love that he will take Princess out in the morning.

Emma Only 1 month left

We have only 1 more month and then she will be an official a teenager. She has been so busy lately with EFY she is going to go around the schools and be in a Dr. Seus play. She is also going to get to go sking for the first time. She is so excited. I just love this girl. She is a ray of sunshine.
