On Saturday Jacob and I went to the new movie The Lorax. We had a really good time.

Jacob performed in his 3rd grade Opera he did a great job and he did a great job of singing and sitting still.He had a great time and did a fantastic job.

                            Jacob and I just finished another book in the Little series. He has really enjoyed learning and talking about the adventures of the Little family. It has been so fun to read this story with him. I am so glad that we had a chance to read this together.

Jacob has a great teacher this year. She has been Emma and Drew teacher to. So I was excited when he brought home his tin foil figure of himself. It looked awesome and he was so happy about it.

Jacob is so excited to be in scouts. He has had a great time. And he is working hard.He was able to earn his first award. He was so happy to accomplish this.

Drew went to the most 4h classes.
Jacob loved going to 4h cloverbuds he made these cute treats. He had a great time. And was so very happy.

Jacob is so tough he loves to play and ocassionally he falls down. But he is okay after about a minute. He loves to be outside and he loves to ride on a 4wheeler.

I love when my children will read a book with me. Jacob has been doing the program hooked on reading. and when you complete a level you get a book to read so Jacob and I read it together. He really liked it and has already starting doing the next level. This book was about help and meeting Paul Revere.

I read this story to Jacob and Drew before they went to sleep.They really enjoyed this and it kept them in thier beds.So it was a win win for all of us. We love the movie. I had no clue that Emma Roberts it the voice of Princess Pea. So if you are looking for a good movie or book to read to your children.

We also just finished this book and now he is re reading this book.

Jacob and I just finished this book. It was quite funny and Jacob is doing better and better with his reading. And he loves school. Which is always a good thing.

Jacob and I just finished this great book. We had a good time reading it. Actually we even had Emma read a few pages plus Drew. This book was so much fun. I love when we can find a good book to read with each other. This book made him want to join Karate even more.

Field Trip with Jacob

It is always so much fun to go on the field trip with the kids you learn a lot about the teachers and also how your child interacts with the children at school. Today we went up to Cedar Breaks and to Woods Ranch. about 1 week ago they got about 10 inches of snow. So the hike was fun

but it was a beautful day. I am so glad that I had the chance to go with Jacob and the 2nd graders we had a great time.

Majic Tree House Books

Jacob and I have decided to read all the majic tree house books. Drew and I did this and we loved it. It is a great time to be together and this way I can help him do some reading. We are starting out kind of slow. But he wants to be done before Christmas and then we will get to go out to dinner together and either go to a show or buy a movie. Anything to motivate him to read. So we finished #3 and we are going to start on #4 what is also great is that there are quizes about these books and a passport book that you can get the stamps from. So we will also be doing that as well. So here is to the majic tree house books.

Jacob riding a 2 wheeler

Jacob was all ready to ride his new 2 wheeler bike. We went up to the church and it just took about 2 times around the church with mom and he was on his way. He was so excited. This has been 1 of my goals for Jacob. I think that it is very important that every child learns how to ride a bike. I know that it has been hard living on a hill. But now that we can all ride a bike we can go other places. I think Jacob really started learning was when we went up to Panigutich Lake and he saw Jylinn going and he asked to try . That is where he got his excitement to go do it himself. I am so proud of him.
