Read Books

Just finished this great book. I truly recommend this book. I loved it. It is was simple and short and right to the point. The author did a great job describing the places. It was fun because I knew exactly what he was talking about since it it based in Virginia. I love when you can not a put a book down. I can't wait for book club to discuss this book. It will be a very good coversation.

Visting Teaching for the Month of May

My partner taught the lesson. I just grabbed this flyer form A Little Tipsy. She does such great work. We are so lucky that we have the May Ensign to read. So go out and do some visiting teaching.

Fired Up Mac and Cheese

While I was up at Women's Conference the Food Nanny was there. I have seen her a few times on KBYU and lot this looks like a great idea. The meal is centered around theme nights. For instance this dinner is from Comfort food night. The kids liked it but I thought they would like it more. Also I think it would have tasted better with out the bread crumbs on top. More cheese. But it was good and people ate.

Writting Grandma history

I did not think that I would work on this goal ever or at all. I had very mixed emotion and thought why would I need to do this and it brothered me quite a bit. I have had very mixed emotions with her since I have lived here and since I have gotten older. Which I know that she is older and things will work out.
On May 5th she had a pretty bad stroke that about wiped her out all of my cousins from up North came and she asked for the Bishop, Doctor and John. It was very emotional and a very hard day. I thought she would not make it over night. But she woke up the next morning and said it was a miracle. So now she is in Kolob which is a good place. And I thought what a good try while I am sitting there is to lean about her and write down her history. She has been given journals and questions. But she is a perfectionist and with her hand not been really ready to write and it takes her a long time to write.
So I have started to ask her questions and I type them up and then she answers and I read back of what she is saying. I hope that I will be able to ask her all the questions that I would like to know. So far I have 4 pages so I am very excited to do this project because I will learn so much about her.

Texas Road house

We had a great time going to Teaxas Roadhouse. Mom and Sarah have been before but this was my first time. The food was so yummy. The early bird special was a great price. The waiter was good and the wait was good because we called ahead of time.

Shopping at Kohls

Service Project.

On the campus.

It was so great to go to Women's Conference. I ended up going up by myself. But I meet my mom and Sister up in Lehi. We had a great time we went to Texas Road House which was yummy. Then we went over to Kohls and to Targaret. In the morning I heard one of the best talks from Sister Julie B. Beck. Boy do I need to do better. Then Sarah and I went over the Marriage Student Stake Center. And we made memory boxes. Then we went back over to the Marriot Center. We had a great time. It is so spirtual and have we had a great time bonding. Then on Friday night I went over to Wendy Simmerman. She is such an awesome friend. The children did great with Jonathan. It is great for everyone.

The Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Jacob and I read the The Diary of a Wimpy Kid together. I was glad that he wanted

to read this book. We had a good time. We started reading the day before the movie came out. The book is differerent from the movie. I was glad that we could read it together. I do not think I will read another. Unless Jacob asked me. They are very much a child book and humor. Which naturally Drew and Jacob loves this book.
