January Ensign

The Ensign format is different but had some very powerful talks. The talk from Elder Jeffery R. Holland. The Best is yet to be. Touched my heart.I loved when he said Faith is for the future. Faith builds on the past but nevrer longs to stay there. Faith trusts that God has great things in store for each of us and that Christ is truly is the the"high priest of good things to come" (Hebrews 9:11).
Keep your eyes on your dreams, however distant and far away. Live to see the miracles of repentance and forgiveness of trust and divine love that will transform your life today and tomorrow, and forever. That is a New Year's resolution I ask you to keep.
What an up lifting talk.
Try to do better and have faith.

Read the Old Testament

I just finished Deut. and I learned that it is so important to keep the commandments. I just love the scriptures we are so blessed to have them in our lives. I am so glad that I know that God lives and loves each one of his children. I am so glad that we have scriptures that teach of his great plans for us. So if you need a pickup the bible is a great place to start.

Making heart shapped crayons

I have lots of broken crayons and thought this would be a great project for Jacob and I to do. So we put the greens together and the reds and pinks. It was fun we heated the oven to 265 and baked for 12min we were watching and then put them in the freezer for about 15 min. They turned our really good. Jacob kept asking when are we going to eat them. So we will have to make cookies for our next project together.

Weeks 1-3

I thought I would get a jumpstart on this new year. So that I will not be behind. It has been fun to have the kids take some pictures to. It is fun to see what they see.
