Go on a Date with Jonathan

Jonathan and I went to our ward and Ryan and Zu taught us some Latin dancing. We had a good time together. Sorry no pictures.

Be more creative for Birthdays

For Emma's birthday I mad a treasure hunt for her to go get some of her presents dealing with her special present. She just loved it and love the end result. So I got the awesome mom.

Read Books

What a book. I could not believe this book. I thought about myself would I be this strong. We can never let bad things to happen to a whole race. I want to be able to stand for courage .
The writing was good. It was hard to get through at points because they were treated so bad. I hope that I never treat anyone so bad. This was not flowery it was the truth and how he was treated. I would recommend this book but it is very hard and very real.

Read the Ensign

I am finished the March Ensign 1 day before the end of the month. It was very good. I am so glad that we have leaders who can lead us and guide us. I am so glad that we can do things if we have the Lord Jesus Christ in our lives. I loved the gospel message. I love the articles about being grateful. I am so glad to be reminded of all the things to be grateful for. Looking forward to reading April.

March Visting Teaching

It was good to go visting teaching this month. The messages seems to really apply. I have really enjoyed reading my scriptures. I am doing the challenge to find the women in the scriptures. And has really build my testimony. I am glad that I have the chance to read the scriptures.

Catching Fire

I just finshed Catching Fire. The 2nd book of the Hunger Games series. I love how this author keeps the story moving along. These books always make me think Do I have enough courage? Would I be brave enough to go face these challenges. Do I make a difference? I surely hope that I stand up for what I believe. I am just so glad that I am not a teenager at this time of life.
I just love how devoted Peeta is and that he can use his words to move people. And I think Katniss it such a teenager with all the emotions and having to be a grownup at the same time. I am glad that there will be a third book but not until August.

Emma

Outside in beautiful St. George.

Emma loves to have make up on.
This sweet student did her hair.

In November when we were down in St. George Emma said for my goal with her would be if I could take her down to St. George right before her birthday. So on Saturday we went to St. George first we stopped at Petco to see if there was the perfect dog for her. We kinda found one but it was not a maltese it was a puggle and it just got adopted. So the search is still on. Then we went to Olive Garden. Then we went to Target she got shoes and we got Princess and the Frog. Then we went over to Ross and got a dress and a shirt with leggins. Then we headed over to the mall and went to Penny's and Aeropostle and the Holsister and then to Ecoolis it is a new store in the mall but they were offerring to get your hair and make up done. So we got Emma all dolled up. She had a good time. The clothes in this store were so overpriced. We got her a few things and then had a pretzel and then went over to Artic Circle had a twist and drove home. And when we got home watched the BYU game. So sad. and then watched the Princess and the Frog. We had a great day together. I am so glad that Emma is mine she is so kind and growing up so fast. I am glad she wanted a day just to spend with her mom.

Stake Primary

Being in the Stake Primary mean that I take my turn speaking with the High counsel men for the 3rd sunday. So today I spoke in the 6th ward at 1pm. It was so nice my family came to hear me speak. The talk was on Family Prayer. I am so grateful that I get to pray with my family what a wonderful blessing this is.
I was so nervous for this talk. I really just learned how important Family prayer is and that I need to be more dillgent in this effort.

Earlier at 11 I thought that it was Cedar Hills ward conference so I walk in and it is not. Not till next week. Where did I get all confused.

Going back stage to see how they perform all the shows.
Learning a new country dance together we also learned another dance. No pictures though.

Mexican Fiesta Having a great time.
It was so great to be with Jonathan for 7 days and 7 nights. We had such a good time together. This is exactly what we both needed. It was fun not to have to worry about anything. It was so fun to do things together and to have such a good time and talk with each other and not be interupted. It was so fun to be able to spend so much time together.

Goal 86 Try new food.

New York Cheesecake
Lobster and prawns
Isn't this just awesome.
The Love Boat
This was so yummy and so pretty.
This looked good but did not taste very good. Zuchinni with stuffing and beans.

While I was on the cruise . I tried all the new food I could get my hands on. The food on the boat was so good. Here are a few pictures. The show of the food was amazing. I found a new roll that I loved for breakfast. That I ended up eating every morning because of trying new food. It became my favorite.
I am so glad that I was willing to try new food. I loved all the seafood and the new treats that went into my mouth.

1 Week with out the Computer

I will have to say I did this goal. Because I did not get on the computer once while I was on the boat. It was great to be with out. Maybe because I had no time and it was very expensive to use the computer. But I am going to do this on land. Because it was so nice to have a break.

Stake Primary

Laura getting the water out for the children.
Setting up the popcorn.
We just had a Stake Primary activity dealing with Jesus Christ we had an activity of his birth, life, Miracles he performed and of his death. We had so many children. So that was awesome. My part was Jesus Miracles I had some great help. Michelle, Seval, Jane and Marion they all came dressed like they were in Jesus time. We talked about Jesus feeding the 5thousand and the woman that touched Jesus robe. And Peter walking on the water. The kids were so good and very quiet and answered all of our questions.
I love being in the Stake Primary. I have learned so much from the primary children and from their leaders and from Jennifer, Laura and Holly.
The next day we went to a Primary training. It was so very spiritual. We have baptisms each month the children are so very exciting. We take a picture of each child and put it on a scrapbook page and then we had them clothes.
The children have been so good. Also this month I get the chance to speak at a ward with a High Counsel member. This has been stressful but a very good thing to learn more about the gospel.

Lemon Merigune Pie

I was hungry for some pie. So the kids helped me make this great pie. The kids did not like the lemon to much. I got the recipe on the box the lemon pudding box. It was fun to make this with the kids.

Febuary Ensign

This month went by so fast. I had to hurry and finish this month Ensign. But I got it done.
I love that they put the visiting teaching message right up front. And I really liked the article Becoming an Influential Father. Looking forward to reading March Ensign.
