Jacob gets his bobcat

Jacob is so excited to be in scouts. He has had a great time. And he is working hard.He was able to earn his first award. He was so happy to accomplish this.

Finish upstairs

Everyone helped in working on the upstairs. My mom is a pro at putting up wall paper. So I had her and her friend and Jonathan put up my beadboard wall paper. They all worked great as a team.
Jacob has discovered that he loves to paint. So we painted the hallway. I was to do this while they were at school. But since we were painting the trims. We needed to paint the walls.
He did a wonderful job with supervision.
Yes we had to make a few trips to Home Depot and Walmart.
The Hallway looks great.
Scott Jolley was a super help with getting the new doors. And he helped install them. He is such a hard worker. We were grateful for his help.
New light plates. Spray painted silver. Love them. Thanks Kourt for doing this to my light plates.

These were the old doors the plan was to just spray paint them white. After 2 coats they bubbled and then we tried to fix them and they got ruined. That is why I got new doors. But it did work on the closet doors we just had to prime the doors first. Plus the closet doors were not as bad shape as the doors were.

Drew

Drew earned his Weblo. We are so proud of him. He just loves scouts. He only has 5 more awards to get them all. He is so excited about this. He has great leaders. Jonathan and Drew work on this on most Sunday's. This has been so great for both of them.

Jacob

Drew went to the most 4h classes.
Jacob loved going to 4h cloverbuds he made these cute treats. He had a great time. And was so very happy.

Homemade Cafe Rio Pork

I found a good recipe for Cafe Rio Pork. I bought a lot of pork . I had to use 3 crock pots and 1 roasting oven. And the best was Michelle crock pot. I don't know why. But it cooked and shredded so much easier. I wish that I took pictures of the boys helping me put the brown sugar and the Dr. Pepper. They had such a good time helping me. It turned out way yummy we served it with rolls. I bought soft rolls not a good idea they were to soft. The meat just soaked them up. The leftovers have been used for salad and with tortillas. yum yum I think now I will go and eat.

Jacob's Baptism

I was so glad for this day to come. Jacob was so excited to be baptized. I was so glad to have so much help for his baptism from family and friends. I was so glad that Jonathan parents were able to come along with my Mom and Sister and Uncle Ed and Aunt Marsha. I think Jacob is an amazing child and I love him so much I wanted him to remember this day and that his parents and family and friends love him so much.

Date to The Play Noises OFF

We were able to go to this play with Mom and Dad Stathis and Uncle Ed and Aunt Marsha. It was so good and so very funny. I am glad that I got to spend time with my sweetheart. We have had a busy week so it was great to go to see a funny play. The Shakespeare Festival turned 50. They do such a great job.

Finish upstairs

The pantry doors that would rub on the floor was fixed by the handyman. So no more rubbing on the floor and it got some touch up on the paint. We painted the bedroom doors white and when we were putting back on the pin came off so the handy man fixed that as well. It is looking good.

Jacob

Jacob is so tough he loves to play and ocassionally he falls down. But he is okay after about a minute. He loves to be outside and he loves to ride on a 4wheeler.
